When you are tempted it means you resisted. When you resist it means God is winning through you.

You don't have to be perfect, but you do have to be honest.

To not fix a ministerial mistake on your part after the first occurrence is a sin.

You are not alone. If you think you are alone you are being deceived.

We are all in this together. Just because we don't see each other does not mean we do not exist and that we are not all pulling in the same direction.

How hard you try does not make any difference if you quit trying.

The busyness of doing His work can really get in the way of doing His work.

God wants to be a full interactive partner in your work, not an outside resource.

Your work is truly godly if you can do your work without anyone knowing you do the work except God.

Disappointment in the lack of godliness on the part of others is no excuse for lack of godliness on your part.

The best healers are those who have been sick and know the need for healing.

If you think you've lost God it means you still want to be near Him. When you want to be near Him then He is near you.

Some people need to be reminded about their call into the work. Sometimes you need to remind yourself.

There is a power in the universe that wants you to fall or fail. God wants you to rise or succeed.

Pain is no excuse not to keep going.

If you think you are above simple and  fundamental truths then you are...and you will fall to where the truths live.

Like a balloon swollen past its limits, being big in the ministry carries with it a high probability of implosion.

Unrealistic expectations of your service by others can be due to unrealistic expectations by yourself about your service to others.

You don't have to like the job to do it well. You don't have to be rewarded for doing the job, you just have to do it. You don't have to get anything out of the job for the job to get done. If you think of what you do as a job, then for you it is definitely a job.

If your call was a one time event then you are blessed. If your call has been a continuous event then you are blessed even more. If your call was an order and you have followed the order then you are a blessing.

The people who have the farthest to fall are those who are the highest.

It is OK to be wounded while you work, just don't bleed on others.

Since we are all going to die to get eternal life, humor may be the best way to inch our way to the grave.

Telling God you are sorry and telling others you are sorry puts oil in the gears and stops that awful grinding sound.

I'll post other stuff when the pain gets intense enough.
