Christmas Words Of Faith Words Of Faith About Giving In Poverty At Christmas It
is the Christmas season. The
stores are full of people buying gifts for others. But
for many, this year they are poor. Many
of us have very little we can give in material things. We
know it shouldn’t bother us but not being able to give gifts tears away at our
heart and mind. What
are we to do? This
year, in our poverty, let us give Christ's love. This
year, at a time when we cannot give a physical gift, let us away Christ's
compassion. This
year, at a time when we may have barely enough to eat, let us reach out to
others in Christ's name. In
Christ's name and by Christ's power, let us ask Him to bestow upon all those we
pray for each day the most wonderful of gifts this year. In
some miraculous way, in a way only Christ can work, let us earnestly pray for
Him to shower the children with gifts to make them happy. Praise
His Name. Amen. |
