You tried to find Christ by being wise.

You tried to find Christ in education.

But you did not find Him.

You tried to find Christ in great literature.

You tried to find Christ in society.

You tried to find Christ by listening to the wise ones.

But you did not find Him.

You tried to find Christ in music.

You tried to find Christ in art.

You tried to find Christ in the cultures of the world.

But you did not find Him.

You found Christ only when you turned away from the world and melted down into a little child.

When you melted down and became as a little child you found Christ hanging from a cross…hanging on a cross just for you….hanging on a cross because of you…hanging on a cross because of your sin…hanging on a cross to save you.

Turn away from the world and turn away from your sin.

Accept Christ into your heart and life as your savior and Lord.
