Words Of Faith For A Time When God Disappoints

Perhaps you are disappointed in the Lord.

Perhaps you are disappointed the Lord has not done for you what you want done.

Perhaps you expected big things from the Lord but the Lord has not delivered.

What are you to do?

Are you to wait upon the Lord until you die?

In these kinds of expectations, maybe you are mistaken in your thinking.

Maybe instead of your being disappointed in the Lord, maybe the Lord is a lot more disappointed in you than you are in Him.

As you think about this, perhaps you can see where your thinking might be in error.

In your heart you know it is not what the Lord does for you, it is what you do for Him.

You know in your heart the person you are for the Lord is most important.

So in your disappointment with the Lord, turn to Him and He will help you be His humble child.

The Lord will help you seek out His will as you try to put your own will aside.

The Lord will help you grow out of your disappointment.

The Lord will help you grow up, up, up into His Heaven.

According to His will, Christ will help you do everything in your power to glorify Him and magnify His name.

Most of all, the Lord will help you be His servant rather than your expecting the Lord to be your servant.
