Words Of Faith About How You See Yourself You
looked in a mirror the other day. It
was the mirror you used when you were a child. Somehow
you expected to see the child, but you saw the grown-up instead. You
saw your age. You
saw your wrinkles. You
saw your gray hair. It
was a shock. Then
you got to thinking… You
got to thinking about where you should look to see who you are. You
realized the first place you should look to see who you are is in Christ's eyes,
in the eyes of your Lord and Savior. In
Christ's eyes you can see His magnificent love for you. In
His eyes you can see His acceptance. In
His eyes you can see His forgiveness. In
His eyes you can see His infinite hope for your life and for your soul. Give
Him praise, for as long as you look to Him, you shall care not how the world
sees you. Give
Him praise, for as long as you look to Christ Jesus, you shall find Him reaching
out to you and you shall find Him loving you in ways the world does not
understand nor accept. Give
Him praise, for loving you in infinite ways. Praise
His name, Amen. |
