Look up to the Lord from the deep pit of your adversity.

Cry out for His help.

In your pride and your ego, you want to be strong and free.

In your selfishness, you want to stand tall and boast about your life and your accomplishments.

However, you must understand what you are doing.

Looking within, you can see how your sinful nature is repulsive.

Cry out to the Lord for help to turn away from the sinfulness within you.

Cry out to the Lord for help to turn toward everything the Lord wants you to be.

Cry out to the Lord for help because you are weak from the burdens of your life making you crumble under the weight.

Lift your eyes up to His glory.

Lift your heart up to His love.

Lift your soul up to His eternal power.

Because the Lord lived and still lives, you can count your blessings each day.

Because the Lord lived and still lives, you know there is someone you can count on to hear your cry.
