If you heard God speak, wouldn't He say these words of love?

When you were a young person…

You wanted money.

You wanted power.

You wanted lands.

You wanted furniture.

You wanted cars.

You wanted houses.

Remember how you wanted all these things?

However, you are older now,

You know in your heart all these things are just things and they do not bring happiness or peace.

You know in your heart material things can possess you and own you more than you can possess and own material things.

Be my child and you will love my peace pulling you up above the material things of earth.

Be my child and you will love my love helping you appreciate all I have created.

If you had money and had lost me, precious child, you would be poor.

If you had power and had lost me, precious child, you would be powerless.

If you had lands and had lost me, precious child, you would have nowhere to roam.

If you had furniture and had lost me, precious child, you would have nothing upon which to rest your head.

If you had cars and you had lost me, precious child, you would have no place to go.

If you had houses and you had lost me, precious child, you would have no place to live.

So in my great wisdom, love, grace, and mercy, I will keep you with me and never let go.
