GOD WILL WORK FOR YOU
God will work for you in your life…if you let Him. When you have a
heart directed toward the world, toward material things, and toward
destructive sinful desires, or directed toward just yourself and your
problems, then you leave God out. When you are willing to let God into
your heart and you are willing to let God work for you, in you, and
through you, then He will work for you in your life. God needs you to
always have an attitude of compliance and willingness towards His will
in your life. God always stands at the door of your heart wanting to
come in and live within you. When you surrender and open your heart to
His love then He comes into your life and works miracles and performs
wonders. An open heart to God permits God to heal wounds that have never
healed. An open heart permits God to wipe away painful memories. An open
heart permits God to inspire encouragement within you. An open heart to
Christ's love gives you a reason to live, breathe, and continue to walk
the Lord's path each day. When you take an open heart to Christ dying on
the Cross then you come away from the Cross as a new person. In the
spiritual wars in your life, when everything looks its darkest, an open
heart reaching up to God is always touched by God's love for you. Every
obstacle in life, no matter how great it seems, can be turned into a
glorious testament to God's redeeming love. Make no mistake that you
cannot turn obstacles into glories on your own. However, with God's
power and His force of love within you, even the most daunting of
problems can be conquered…for God cares for you
Matthew:10:29: Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of
them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30 But the very
hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of
more value than many sparrows. (KJV)
What we most often expect is for God to do visible works that amaze
the eye and startle the senses, yet God's greatest works are the ones we
do not see. For His greatest works are the ones that take place within
the hearts and lives of men and women like you. We can blast away
mountains and carry off the rock in trucks. However, no matter how hard
we try, we cannot, by ourselves and on our own change the human heart
from darkness into light. We cannot, on our own, give people hope in the
darkness. We cannot, on our own, fill their lives with meaning and
purpose. However, we have a God, a Christ, and an Holy Spirit that does
the miraculous. Today you can have the miraculous done in your life by
opening your heart to Christ and to the Love poured through Him by our
Father in heaven.
Isaiah 43:1 But now, this is what the LORD says-- he who created you,
O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have
redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. 2 When you pass
through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the
rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (NIV)
A REASON TO LIVE
A Christian believer has a reason to live. That reason to live is to
do the will of God. That reason to live inspires you to strive to
overcome every obstacle and defeat every foe. That reason to live pulls
you up out of yourself…to a place where the Father, the Son, and the
Holy Spirit work in your life…and to a place where they pour blessings
over you each day.
WHAT SATAN WANTS
Never be deceived. You have a mortal enemy. Satan wants you to close
your heart off from the love of God. Satan wants you to go your own way
not God's way. Satan does indeed whisper in your ear and tells you to
forget about others. Satan tells you to take care of yourself, to put
yourself first, to take the easy road, and to take what you want because
you want it. Satan tells you not to worry about anyone else, that if you
have a need then fill it regardless of the consequences, and if you are
tempted then go ahead and never try to resist. You must remember that
when you listen to Satan, the only reason for living is to fill the
emptiness Satan creates in you. As you try to fill this emptiness, Satan
keeps drawing you in and he will let you fill the emptiness for a brief
moment. But like the addiction to a drug, the more you try to fill the
emptiness the more of the emptiness that is created in you. This cycle
of darkness is unending and reduces you down to nothing more than a
whimpering child begging to be fed more of the cocaine of the soul or
the real life cocaine that destroys both body and soul. This endless
cycle of destruction leads first to the death of the spirit and then to
the death of the body. Now, place into this cycle of destruction a drug
like cocaine or an alcohol, that for a few moments eases the pain of the
void…and you have addiction.
ONLY THE REDEEMING LOVE OF GOD CAN FILL YOU
Only the redeeming love of God can fill your life. If you are caught
in the clutches of Satan's deadly grip, then surrendering your life and
your heart to Christ fills your empty heart with God's love and mercy.
With the power of God's love reigning in your heart you are able to
build a life, hour by hour, day by day, that brings God's blessings to
others, and brings the blessings of God back to you.
WHATEVER IT TAKES
To experience the redeeming love of Christ filling your soul you must
do whatever kind of heart work it takes. If you are hiding your secret
thoughts and a secret past from God then go to Him and confess. Confess
all there is and pour all of your soul, your thoughts, and your pain out
before Him as He hangs dying on the Cross. If your life is full of pain
due to guilt then take the cause of that guilt to Christ and lay it
before Him and He will forgive you. He will wipe away every trace of
guilt you carry. With Christ you can be free of all past wrongs. With
Christ you can find a new and clean life. With Christ you can start over
and never have to live with the burdens of the past. If you are angry
with God then tell it to Jesus. God understands your anger. God
understands your frustrations. If you do not let out your anger to God
then He cannot help you. No matter what your situation, no matter what
your circumstance might be, God knows already, God cares anyway, and God
loves you regardless. It is so important that you know that Christ is
waiting every minute of your life for you to turn to Him. Every second
He stands waiting to lift the burdens of sin, guilt, anger, and hurt
that you carry. Never again will you have to carry the weight of the
world on your shoulders. Never again will you have to carry the pain of
emotional suffering. Never again will you have to carry the shame of
guilt regardless of its source. For your God is a mighty God. He is a
forgiving God that desires to change your life and have you be a true
child of His.
Matthew:11:28: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for
I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (KJV)
ACCEPT HIM TOTALLY
Today, to have Him alive within you than accept Him totally. If you
have a sin that you have not taken to Him then take that sin to Him now
for He knows you and loves you and He does not want you to be burdened.
Surrender every burden and open your heart to Him for He is tenderly
calling you, ready at any moment to pour His grace and mercy over you
and give you all of His mighty blessings.
John 12:47 "As for the person who hears my words but does not
keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world,
but to save it. (NIV)
CALL UPON HIM
If you have never called upon Him, ask Him into your life today. Ask
Him to forgive you of your wrongs and your sins. Then ask Christ Jesus
to come into your heart and life. For when you ask He will come into
your heart. He will overflow within you and purify you from all the dark
plagues of your past.
Matthew18:11: For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone
astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the
mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? 13 And if so be that
he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than
of the ninety and nine which went not astray. 14 Even so it is not the
will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones
should perish. (KJV)
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will
forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (NIV)
