Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
In your love, wipe away every painful thought, every painful memory, and every painful trouble of my past.
In your love, give to me a new day.
In your love, give to me a new day full of the promise and hope of youth even when I am old.
In your love, I count on your will to prevail for me.
In your love, all the paths of my life shall be illumined by the light of your grace.
In your love, destroy every dark power.
In your love, destroy every dark influence.
In Jesus' name, destroy every evil.
I submit all my trials and pain into your care.
I place all my burdens into your hands scarred by the nails of your cross.
What are my cares compared to your suffering?
What are my cares compared to your death for me?
For every dark power, bring your power of light.
For every dark night, bring the power of your hope.
For every dark cloud, bring the power of your wind to disperse the cloud into nothing.
Place in me the hope of ages past.
Secure for me a present day grounded in the hope for the future.
Pour your wisdom and truth into my soul.
Enable me to treasure your truth all day long.
Lift me up when I fall down and when I am low in spirit.
Lift me up so I can save others who are downcast.
In your holy name, in the shadow of your empty tomb, what darkness can defeat me?
My day of judgment shall never be, for I am cleansed in your saving power.
What darkness can rule over me if I give all I am over to you?
Whenever I want to find you, I have only to look upon the cross where you died to set me free.
Whatever I pray, I know you hear.
Whatever I ask in your will, I know you will do.
Whatever you ask of me, I shall stand firm and deliver as much as I am able.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
