A Prayer For A More Thankful Heart

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
Thank you for these few moments with you.
Thank you for this time of thought, worship, reflection, and meditation.
I love you Lord.
My words cannot express my thankfulness and gratitude for what you have done for me all the days of my life.
To say "thank you" for your sacrifice for me on the Cross seems feeble and lame, but my words are all I have.
During the coming days, turn my heart to you in a spirit of greater thankfulness.
During the coming days, I know I shall be tested but in your name I shall persevere and be renewed through you.
In my renewal, I give thanks.
In this world, when I am caught up in the problems of the day, keep me in your presence.
In this world, when so much seems to come unraveled, although I am often weak, I am strong in my love for you.
Although I am weak, you keep me steadfast in your sight.
To you I give thanks, glory, and honor this hour.
Help me as I try to be your witness.
Give me the courage, inspiration, and power to be a person who glorifies your name.
Give me a heart overflowing with thanksgiving for the blessings you pour out upon my life.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives in me and touches me,
