A Prayer About A Time Of Peace
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Bring to the world a time of peace.
Stop all the wars and quell the rumors of wars.
Bring to me a time of peace in my heart.
Bring to my family, friends, co-workers, and all the people I know, a time
of peace.
In your power, turn all the weapons of the world into instruments of good
for mankind.
In your power, stop the horrible sinfulness of people who want to wage
war.
In your power, stop the horrible sinfulness of people who hate and who
lust to kill others.
Bring your peace into every dark place.
Bring your saving grace into every heart.
Show all people you are the prince of peace.
Show all people you need all of us to strive for peace.
In my own heart, when I want to strike out or strike back, touch my heart
and remind me I am to be an ambassador of your peace.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
