A Prayer About Accepting Christ And Throwing
Away Our Sin
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I need your help today, Lord.
Today I did things, and thought things, and said things I know were not
your will for me.
Please forgive me for today I have fallen short of your expectations of
me.
I know you want more from me and I know what you want, but sometimes the
darkness comes at me and before I know it, the darkness attacks me and I
make mistakes.
I am sorry.
I know you forgive me.
Every time you forgive me when I seek your forgiveness. Thank you, O Lord,
for I am not deserving of your forgiving love.
Help me to throw away the sinful darkness in my life.
Help me to look up to you when those dark moments come at me.
Help me to trust you when I am being attacked by the darkness.
No matter what I do, influence me to trust you more in every circumstance,
especially in those times when I grow weak.
When I am weak, help me to reach up to your powerful hand.
When I am weak, help me to trust you completely to be beside me and to
give me the power to be all you want me to be.
When I am weak, touch my heart to focus only upon your love for me.
When I am weak, embolden me to fight back against the darkness that tries
to destroy me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen |
