A Prayer About The Afflictions From
Believing
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I have many blessings because of my faith but even though I have many
blessings, I also have afflictions.
I have afflictions because of my faith but I will not relent and I will
not turn back.
In your love and in your grace, I will not turn back, I will not relent.
My afflictions try to get the best of me, but I will not relent, I will
not turn back.
Whenever I am tempted to want only the blessings from my faith, stop me
and show me your sacrifice on the cross so I will be content, even in my
afflictions.
When I grow weak and I want the big payoff from my faith, stop me and show
me my big payoff is about coming home to live with you in paradise.
When my belief requires me to pay a heavy price, inspire to not relent and
never turn back.
When my belief requires me to suffer greatly, inspire me to not relent and
never turn back.
When my belief requires me to suffer greatly, show me the price I pay will
not last long.
When my belief requires me to suffer greatly, remind me my belief must be
strong in any circumstance and strong under any affliction.

When my belief requires me to suffer greatly, remind me my belief must
rest upon the sure foundation of your quiet power and your inner strength.
When my belief requires me to suffer greatly, remind me what I believe
must be grounded in what I can give to you, not grounded in what I can
receive from you.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
