Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Because you were born, you are near me rather than being far away.
Because you are near me, I can call upon you and you are always with me.
Even in times when I am burdened down, you are still near me.
Because you came into the world, I am touched by your glory.
In my mind, as I kneel down beside you in your manger, your glory shines down into my soul and I am lifted up.
Because you were born on that first Christmas so long ago, your glory fills the heart of every believer and we can all get a tiny glimpse of our own heavenly glory just ahead.
From your manger, your radiance illumines my heart.
From your manger, your love lifts me out of my trials.
From your manger, your majesty fills my life.
In humble worship, I adore you.
In humble worship, I love you, precious Lord Jesus.
