A Prayer To Be Attentive To God's Commands
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
O Precious All In All,
Wonderful, merciful Lord.
Let me see clearly your rules for living.
Let me study the wisdom and depth of your words to humanity.
Let me obey not my own instincts, but let me obey your rules and commands
for life.
Show me the way of disobedience is the way of death.
Show me the way of obedience is the way of life.
Open my heart to your love and within your love open my mind to your
truth.
Open my eyes so I can see how you, O Christ, died for me because I had
fallen and was covered with shame.
Open my mind to your beauty in thought, your beauty in the world, and your
beauty within each person.
When the clouds of sin and corruption bring darkness into my life, show me
your commands and your truth bring light to my soul and joy to my heart.
I love you, O Lord.
I adore you, Precious One.
All these things I humbly pray.
