Prayer About Being Afraid To Be The Person God Wants You To Be

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
I am afraid to be who you made me to be.
I am afraid of being ridiculed and laughed at.
I am afraid my world will collapse if I become the true person I really am.
Fear rules over me and keeps me from being the person you want me to be.
As a result, I am not myself.
I am someone else.
I am living a lie.
Even when I am around other Christians, I am not myself.
I want to stop this fear.
Infuse me with your love so my fear will leave.
Infuse me with your love so I can be who you made me to be.
Help me be more of a person of love.
Help me be a person of power and love over what I fear.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me,
Amen
