A Prayer About Being In Christ's
Stillness
Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
I am pushed about by life.
I am pushed about by worries regarding my health, worries about my daily
life, and worries about others I love.
I am pushed about by a myriad of noisy influences in every part of my
existence.
In all the noise of my life, I need your stillness within me.
I need your stillness within me amidst the noise, confusion, pain, and
heartache of my life.
I need to meet with you each day in a time of stillness to hear your voice
as you immerse me in the stillness of your love.
Help me meet you in your stillness so I will be transformed and renewed.
Remind me every day to bow down before you upon your cross so my
conviction brings your stillness into my heart.
In my world of distractions and noise, I love to speak with you in the
quiet time of our prayer each day.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit
who lives within me and touches me,
