A Prayer About Being Patient In Love

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
Help me be patient.
Help me see how all the material things of my world are just things, and in your eyes these material things are not important.
Help me be patient as I try to work and serve you in your time rather than in my time.
Show me how if I have your love, the kind of love that is of your being, I can wait in total patience.
Show me how if I have your love, I can wait for your will to be done.
Show me how when finances, family matters, or the other pressures of life push against me, I can be patient.
When being patient seems to be impossible, show me how all things are possible with you.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me,
Amen
