A Prayer About Being Strong In Christ

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Although I may be weak in my body, in you I have strength and power in my heart, mind, and soul.
Because you have empowered me, I shall sing to you a new song.
I shall praise you from the ends of the earth.
I shall praise you when I go down to the sea.
I shall praise you to all that is in the sea, to your islands, and to all who live in them.
I shall rejoice in your strength.
I shall find great joy in the victories you give to me.
I shall rejoice because you have granted me the desire of my heart and have not withheld any of my requests.
You have put a new song in my mouth.
You have given me a new hymn of praise to you.
Many will see your power and see your strength and put their trust in the you.
You have commanded me to be strong and courageous.
Therefore, I shall not be terrified.
Therefore, I shall not be discouraged for you are my God and in you I trust.
You are my God and I know you will be with me wherever I go.
I shall rejoice in you all day long.
I shall enjoy choice food and sweet drinks as I share them with others.
I shall observe this day as sacred.
I shall not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is my strength.
I shall wake up from my slumber for my salvation is nearer now than when I first believed.
My night is almost over, your day, precious Lord, is almost here.
I shall put aside my deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light for the battle yet to come.
Because I love you and because you love me, I shall live decently, putting aside all sinful behaviors.
I shall clothe myself with your love and peace, and I shall not think about how to gratify the desires of my sinful nature.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
