A Prayer For The Boldness To Show Love
Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful God, Empowering Holy Spirit…
Lord Of All Creation, pour your power over me so I will be bold and mighty
in showing your love and truth.
When challenged by the darkness and sin of the world, let me combat sin
with humble and contrite love.
When the world attacks me for my trust in you, let me humbly but boldly
proclaim your redeeming love and sacrifice.
When I am discouraged and feel all is lost, push me onward in boldness so
I may keep your light shining in the heart of others.
When the darkness comes and tries to destroy my efforts, beam your light
into my heart so others may see you, know you, and love you.
When I see people who are lost and broken in spirit, let me boldly speak
to them with words of your kindness.
When I see people who are sick from various maladies of the mind and body,
let me touch their heart and mind with your wisdom, truth, love, and
mercy.
Let me never be convinced by the world there is no way to reach others in
your name…for there is a way.
Let me never be swayed to believe some people are hopeless sinners, for no
matter how hopeless a person might seem to be, every second I boldly love
them in your name brings them closer to you.
Instill in me your truth that what little I do does make a difference.
Remind me the small work I humbly do brings joy and celebration in Heaven.
In your holy name, and according to your will, I shall boldly proclaim
your love to all I see each day, in whatever way you lead me.
All these things I humbly pray, in the name of the Father, the Son, and
the Holy Spirit.
