Prayer To Cast Off The Chains Of Sin

Most Precious Lord Jesus…
Gentle And Wonderful God…
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit…
I am in bondage.
I am a slave to my sin.
I am a slave to my passions, desires, needs, and wants.
In your name and by your holy power, I cast off these chains of sin.
In your name and by your holy power, I turn away from the bondage my sin has put upon me.
Precious Lord, I need you now.
I need your love and touch to free me.
I need your love and touch to give me a new life.
I accept you into my heart and life.
I accept you as my personal savior, saving me from the eternal outer darkness with its consuming fire.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for rescuing me from myself.
All these things we humbly pray in the name of our most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, our Mighty God, and our Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom we can rely.
