Prayer Of Praise For Christ Standing Near

Most Precious Lord Jesus…
Gentle And Wonderful God…
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit…
Thank you, Precious Lord Jesus.
You have never led me astray.
In the darkness of my afflictions, in the sinking hell of my pain, you have never led me to a place where I was beyond hope or beyond repair.
When I went astray, I went astray on my own…not because of you.
When I sinned, I sinned because I did not call upon you enough to help me resist temptation.
When I was hurt, I too often forgot about how much you love me.
You have been with me and you have guided me all the days of my life.
I give you honor and praise this moment for your ever-present love.
Please accept my feeble words telling you I am sorry for what I have done.
Please accept my feeble words telling you I love you.
In my afflictions you humbled me.
In my pain you guided me to think only of you.
In my loneliness you led me on a path of righteousness instead letting me walk a path of sin.
Please accept my feeble words telling you I love you.
When I was tempted and I prayed for help you came and stood by me.
When I grew weak you came and gave me strength.
When I lost hope you came and poured new hope into me.
Please accept my feeble words telling you I love you.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
Amen
