Although I am stricken with grief, I know you will comfort me.
Although I am stricken with heartache, I know you will lift me up.
Although I am lost, I know you will find me.
Although I do not have a place to stay, I know you will take me in.
Although I am tired, I know you will come and give me new energy.
Although I am estranged, I know you will come and befriend me.
Although I am hurting in a time of sorrow, I know you will come and take
my hurt upon yourself.
Although I am condemned, I know you will come and pardon me.
Although I know I will die, I know you will take me home to be with you
forever.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
