A Christmas Prayer To Help Others

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
You always want me to be honest.
You always want me to be true.
How can I say this?
OK, here it is, Lord.
Sometimes Christmas is not very good for me.
Some years are better than others.
Some years have been really awful.
I know how things should be.
I know how things can be.
The problem is, for me, Christmas is not as it should be or can be.
So help those of us who have problems at Christmas.
Help the widows and widowers.
Help the orphans and the poor.
Help the homeless.
Help the feeble, lame, and sick.
Help the recluse.
Help the depressed and the lonely.
Help the little ones who are lost at a time when everything is supposed to be so bright and cheerful.
In the help you can give, if you don't get around to giving me the help I think I need, be sure you give help to all the others.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
