Live In The Christmas Spirit
O Precious Savior, Wonderful Lord, In-filling Holy
Spirit…
Thank you for this time of year.
I love Christmas.
I love all the decorations, all the lights, all the programs, and all the
gatherings of people at this time of year.
Let this year be a special year.
Although I have had to go through many trials and endure many afflictions,
let this Christmas be a Christmas filled to overflowing with your love and
your presence.
When I see the lights on the tree, inspire me to think about how you are
such a light to the world.
When I see the gifts under the tree, inspire me to think about how you
were such a wonderful gift to all of mankind.
When I hear Christmas carols, inspire me to think about how you brought a
song of joy and salvation to the world.
When I see people crowding the stores to shop for last minute gifts,
inspire me to think about how you came to show all of us how giving was
more blessed than receiving.
Whenever I think I will not have enough money to give the gifts I want to
give, remind me to give my love in other ways besides giving a physical
gift.
Whenever I see a church, remind me a true celebration of your birth is in
the form of gathering with other believers to honor and praise God for the
day you were born.
In the name of the Precious Savior, Wonderful Lord God, and the in-filling
Holy Spirit upon whom we can rely.
