Prayer About Christ's Call To Live In Hope Most
Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
You did not bring me into the world so I would always look down in
hopelessness and dejection.
You brought me into the world to live in your power of hope and promise
for eternity.
There may be no time in my life appearing to be darker than the time just
before my death.
However, I am often deceived by appearances because the time just before
my death is a time full of eternal hope and eternal promise.
In the times of my life when it seems there is no hope for anything good
to happen to me, I know total goodness and joy await me in heaven above.
In you and because of you, the times when I have no hope are really times
when I have hope eternal.
In the times when I have no joy there is already joy waiting to be poured
out upon my heart for eternity.
You came to give me hope for every second I am alive.
You walked away from death in the grave to give me hope.
You live today and call me to live in hope.
You walk and talk with me every second to tell me you will be with me
forever.
For all this I give you praise, honor, and glory.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen
