A Christmas Prayer About
Christ's Gift Of Comfort
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Jesus, I love you.
When I put up the decorations, although I am in pain, I feel your comfort
in my heart.
When I wrap the gifts, although I am in pain, I feel the comfort of
knowing you love me.
When I decorate the Christmas tree, although I am in pain, I feel the joy
of your presence all around me.
Sometimes the pain of my life, even at Christmastime, blinds me, but your
comfort gives me vision again.
Sometimes the pain of my life, even at Christmastime, takes away my
freedom, but your comfort gives me freedom to live and breathe as you
intended.
Thank you, precious Lord.
Thank you for coming into the world to give me and give others your
precious comfort.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
