I love you, Lord Jesus.
My world has spun out of control.
In the world, we have hatred spewing out every day.
There are even people who want to stop Christmas.
However, even when things look grim, I know I can look up to you and expect not just the best from you, but the best of the best.
In your love, you have brought to me and to the world great expectations of a fantastic new life.
You have given me and given the world reason to expect the ultimate of beauty, love, compassion, and eternal bliss.
No matter what I experience today, I expect a great tomorrow.
No matter how bad things look today, I expect you to be with me through every trial.
No matter how depressed and down I get today, I know you stand beside me and continually point me toward a great time in the future.
In your love, help me see the darkness of my present is just an illusion.
In your love, help me see the future is brighter than noonday.
In your love, help me not to be so occupied with the present I forget about the great days just ahead.
