Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
My life has seen its share of failure.
I have more failures than victories.
However, I know the opportunity for victory came to every person when you were born.
In you, all of us have victory every day lasting on into eternity.
This Christmas season, as I stand and gaze upon your manger scene, remind me to give away the message of your victory.
Touch my heart to give away your victory to others.
In doing battle against the darkness every day, show me how your birth gives me the power to be victorious.
This year and every year, let all the Christmas images I see sink into my heart and remind me how you gave me the victory over the darkness.
In your victory, lift my heart into your love.
In your victory, lift my heart into your grace.
In your victory, lift my heart into your power to give to others in your holy name.
You are the Lord God.
You are the victory.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
