A Prayer To Have Christ's Power Within One's Heart

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
Place in my heart the desire and power to love others more deeply because, according to your Word, love covers over a multitude of sins.
Place in my heart the desire and power to offer hospitality to others without grumbling.
Place within me the power to use my gifts from you to serve others, faithfully administering your grace in its various forms.
When I speak or write, inspire me to do so as one speaking your words…your very words as if you were speaking.
When I serve you, inspire me to serve you with the strength you provide, so in all things you may be praised.
In all things, to you be the power and glory forever and ever.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me,
Amen
