Prayer Of Crying Out To God

Most Precious Lord Jesus…
Gentle And Wonderful God…
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit…
I cry out to you this day, most blessed Lord.
I look up to you from the deep pit of my adversity.
I now cry out to you for your help.
In my pride and my ego, I want to be strong and free.
In my selfishness, I want to stand tall and boast about my life and accomplishments.
But I understand what I am doing and I am repulsed at my sinful nature.
I cry out to you to help me turn away from all the sinfulness within me.
I cry out to you to help me turn toward all you want me to be.
I cry out to you because I am weak and the burdens of my life are making me crumble under the weight.
Precious Lord, lift my eyes up to your glory.
Precious Lord, lift my heart up with your love.
Precious Lord, lift my soul with your eternal power.
Because you lived and still live, I can count my blessings each day.
Because you lived and still live, I know there is someone I can count on to hear my cry.
All these things we humbly pray in the name of our most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, our Mighty God, and our Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom we can rely.
