Prayer About The Curse Of Sinful Selfishness

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
A short time ago, all I could think about was my own life, my own problems, my own pain, and my own issues.
I knew better than to be selfish but somehow I lost track of things.
The deeper I got into being selfish the deeper into the curse of the darkness I fell.
When I sank into the depths of this curse of selfishness, I ignored your truth.
When I sank into the depths of this curse of selfishness, I ignored the common sense of my mind.
When I sank into the depths of this curse of selfishness, I ignored your love for me.
When I sank into the depths of this curse of selfishness, I ignored others and their wants and needs.
Thank you, Lord Jesus for coming to my rescue.
You lifted up my eyes so I could see your suffering for me.
You lifted my heart out of the deepest pain.
You lifted my body off the floor from the depression that was killing me.
Thank you, Lord Jesus.
You are the light of my life.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
