A Prayer To Endure Hardship For Christ

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle and Wonderful God, Truly Awesome and Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Precious Lord Jesus, I commit my life to you even in the pain and suffering of this hour.
I know you call me every second of my life.
Precious Lord, I ask you to give me a glimpse of your beauty today so my pain will be eased.
Show me the twinkling stars at night so even in the darkness my heart may shine your light of love and truth.
Distract me from my present ache and hurt by using your beautiful paintings upon the sky we call a sunrise and sunset.
Inspire in me your beauty to assuage the hurt put upon me by the evil one.
May every hardship I must endure be lived out for your glory.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
