Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit…
O, how burdened is my soul from my mistakes.
I am so crushed by my mistakes.
I am so weighed down by my mistakes.
I am suffocating from this weight.
Lord, Precious Lord Jesus, please take my mistakes away.
Yes, I know you cannot take my mistakes away, but please take away the sting I carry.
Please take away the burden.
Even with my mistakes, because of you, because of your love in me, I have gained.
Even with my mistakes, because of you, because of your love in me, I have gained wisdom and truth in your love.
Even with my mistakes, because of you, because of your love in me, I have gained insight into your healing touch.
Please Lord, stand by me and help me deal with my past.
Please Lord, stand by me and help me turn what was once dark into a way to shine your light.
Let all of my mistakes become a time of growing in your love, truth, and wisdom.
How you can do these things I do not know.
Yet I trust in you, I believe in you, and I know you love me in spite of what I have done.
Wash me clean with your cleansing living water.
Wash me clean in the love of your Holy Spirit.
Help me turn the focus of my life away from my past and toward my future in you and in your love and glory.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
