A Prayer For Eyes To See
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
O Precious Lord Jesus, how blind I am!!!
How blind I am to the wonders you have done in my life!!!
Looking back, I can see there were so many times you rescued me from the
deepest pit.
I can see there were so many times you brought your healing light into my
deepest afflictions.
I can see there were so many times you brought hope into my darkest hour.
In my blindness, I did not see your wonders.
In my blindness, I did not see you working.
Too many times you have been working your will in my life and I did not
know.
Every day, every hour, every minute of my life, you have been with me…giving
me your love, giving me your compassion, giving me your almighty presence…and
I did not know.
Open my eyes, precious Lord.
Open my eyes that I may see a tiny glimpse of all you are and all you do
for me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
