A Prayer Of Faith To Await Christ's Return

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Keep my heart alert and ready for your appearing.
Keep my heart alert and ready to see you appearing on the clouds of glory.
Keep my heart alert and ready so at the moment of your appearing your appearance is no surprise.
While I am waiting, keep me faithful and wise so when we see each other face to face you will exclaim "Well done, good and faithful servant!"
While I am waiting, keep me busy doing your work and fulfilling your calling.
While I am waiting, keep me loving and kind.
While I am waiting, keep me faithful till the end.
While I am waiting, keep me giving rather than taking.
While I am waiting, keep me holy and righteous every hour.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
