A Prayer About Falling Down In The Dark
Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
In my distress and in my pain, I grope around in the dark.
In my distress and in my pain, I fall down in the dark.
I grope around and fall down trying to find you.
There is no glory in falling down.
I get bruised and beaten up.
But sometimes I find you.
When I find you, then I find glory.
I take a beating in my life.
Not because I want to take a beating but that is the way life is.
Life is difficult.
But when I find you in the hours of my darkness, your light starts to
shine and then I am immersed in your love.
So I will keep on.
I will keep on praying, keep on hoping, and keep on trusting.
I will keep on because I believe in you and because in the past you have
never failed me.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit
who lives within me and touches me,
