A Prayer To Find Christ When You Think You Have Lost Him

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
At this moment, words do not come easily.
At this moment, I am not sure I have you any more.
I know I have you in my mind.
I know you are still alive in my heart.
But things have devolved, dwindled down, and unraveled.
The truth is I have lost touch with you.
However, I know I have lost touch with you and that you have not lost touch with me.
Even though I have lost touch with you, I am still here praying.
I am still here praying, believing, hoping, and trusting this brief time of losing you is just a mere blip on the screen of my life.
In fact, I know that in the next minute or two, I shall regain you.
I know that as we sit here and talk, you are pouring your presence of love over me.
I know that as I come to you in humility, you are blessing me and blessing all I think, do, and say.
I can say I know these things because you are not far from me.
I can say I know these things for when I found myself lost before, you led me back to our special times together each day.
I can feel your healing touch of love this minute.
I can feel your grace, your power, and your mercy flowing over me, through me, and around me.
How great is your love, O Precious Lord.
How great is your love, most kind and merciful Lord Jesus.
Thank you Lord for being with me and hearing me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
