A Prayer To Find Your Heart
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Just a short time ago I was enthusiastic and motivated.
I had a compelling mental picture of what I wanted to do, to be, and to
become.
Yet somehow, someway, I have lost heart.
The mental picture that burned in my consciousness seems to have faded.
The hope that fueled me seems to have evaporated.
In your grace and in your love, bring back my enthusiasm and my
motivation.
In your grace and in your love, bring back the strong mental image I had
that was so inspiring just a short time ago.
In your grace and in your love, inspire me to do only your will in my
life.
If what I have wanted to do in the past was not your will, touch my heart
and give me the spirit and power to do new things in your name.
May all my waking thoughts and all my waking dreams of tomorrow be only
those thoughts that reflect your love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
