A Prayer About Finding God Today
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I hurt today.
I am full of all kinds of pain.
And when I have days like this, I find it really difficult to pray.
I know you are real.
I know you exist.
I know you are with me.
Today, as I struggle to do your will, let me not be selfish.
Today, as I struggle to do your will, let me always put your will before
my own will.
Today, as I struggle to do your will, let me always put the needs of
others before my own needs.
Today, as I struggle to do your will, let me always put the lives of
others before my own life.
Today, as I struggle to do your will, let me always put you before all
other thoughts.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
