A Prayer About Finding Peace In Chaos

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
The alarm bells of strife, pain, and chaos ring constantly in my life.
Wars rage about me and within me.
I give you my love as much as I am able.
I give you so little compared to what you have given me.
I am broken and bleeding from the battle.
I am about to sink into the quick sand because of the darkness that surrounds me.
Take my hand, Lord Jesus.
Take my hand and pull me up out of the depths of my despair.
Rescue me once again from the chaos and war that so wants to take me away from you.
Let us walk again in the garden.
Let us sit on our stone bench and talk of things magnificent and small things that trouble my soul.
Let us laugh at things that are so off kilter and out of place.
Let us share the vision of your hope for me, for others, and for the world.
As much as your will would permit, more fully bring those I pray for each day into an even greater communion with your love.
Let all of them know of your love and power.
Let all of them feel your healing touch.
Let all of them be immersed in your peace and grace.
I love you Lord Jesus.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
