A Prayer For A Time When You Make A Mess Out Of Your Life

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Lord, so many times I have come to you with the same complaint.
So many times I have come to you because I have made a mess out of my life.
I try very hard to make things right, to live right, and to do the right things but somehow things turn out upside down.
I know what I am doing wrong.
I know when I mess up, I am not going in your direction.
I know when I mess up, I am being selfish and I am doing only what I want rather than what you want.
Bad things happen to me when I do not do your will.
Good things happen to me when I do your will.
When I travel on the path you want for me, blessings pile up upon me.
When I travel on the path you want for me, blessings flow down upon me in such numbers I cannot count them all.
Show me, help me, and inspire me to travel only your path, to live only as you would have me live, and to do only what you would have me do.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
