A Prayer For The Nation Of The United States Of America

Most High God, Blessed and Wonderful Savior, Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Lord of life and death,
Protect this nation in its great need,
Let men and women use this great trial to turn to thee for strength,
Let our citizens find in thee their peace with thee.
Let wise counsel, calm thinking, and unselfish aims prevail.
Grant unity to the land and support of all just measures.
Grant a spirit of charity unseen in all the nation's history.
Grant courage to withstand the attacks of those who would do harm to this people.
Grant a spirit of humility and a spirit of love for thee from those who do not yet know of thy love.
Let us open our hearts to thy wealth.
Let us open our minds to thy wisdom.
In the name of the Wonderful Father, Most Beloved And Precious Son, and Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom we can rely.
