A Prayer About Giving Away Inner Peace
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Let me come to you this hour on my knees in humility and contrition.
May I always be humble before you and may I always be humble before
others.
In every thought, word, and action, may I be a beacon of your peace and
love.
In every thought, word, and action, may I be a beacon of your calm and
reassuring voice.
In the lives of all those with whom I have contact, may those people never
see me but always see you.
When my ego speaks and wants to be noticed, may I always be enough of your
child to bring your peace and bring your love to others.
When my own pain overrides my ability to withstand it, may your peace fall
over me and may that peace flow out to others despite the suffering I must
endure.
In all the little conversations I have with others, may my words not be my
words, but your words.
In all the little encounters I have with others, may my thoughts always
reflect your thoughts.
In all the ways I reach out to others, may my life always be a reflection
of your saving grace and love.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
