A Prayer About God Being Bigger Than Pain

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Many of my days are filled with pain.
In the pain I must endure there is no earthly hope anything will ever get better.
Yet I am comforted.
Although the bitterness of these moments cuts at my heart, I find solace, and I find your healing hand reaching down to me.
Precious Lord Jesus, you are bigger than my pain.
It is you, my wonderful Lord, who keeps me moving in spite of this terrible darkness.
When the pain comes in its terrible waves, I can see you standing there with the scars on your hands and feet.
When the twinges of hurt attack me, I can see you smiling at me and I can feel the healing love you pour over me.
When I think I cannot stand this pain any more, you come and lift my heart, cause me to laugh, and show me the long road of immense opportunities to serve you and be your child.
You are bigger than I am.
You are bigger than my pain.
You are bigger than any darkness that could ever come over me.
In your grace, and in your will, overwhelm me now with your peace.
Overwhelm me with your love.
Overwhelm me with your power so divine.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
