A Prayer About God Being Bigger Than Your Fear

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
When I must tell the truth, I must say I am afraid.
I do not like to say I am afraid.
I do not like to face my fear.
Rather than face my fear, I want to run away and pretend I have courage.
Crazy of me to think this way, isn't it Lord?
But in my faith, when I am afraid, I know I have no reason to fear.
When I am afraid of what I must defeat, give me courage and a vision of my victory through you.
When I am afraid, show me you are bigger than what I fear.
When I am afraid of tomorrow, show me I have power to face tomorrow because of you.
When I fear death, show me I have no reason to fear death because you have taken away the sting of my death.
When I fear poverty, show me I will always be rich in your love and grace.
When I fear getting lost, show me you will always be with me to lead me and guide me.
When I fear being unloved, show me your love is always being poured over me as I open my heart up to you.
When I fear the future, show me the future is full of promise because of you.
When I fear pain, show me you are always there to give me comfort.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
