A Prayer About God Being Bigger Than Your
Worry
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
You know me Lord.
You know I have worries.
You also know I am a worrier.
Sometimes I seem to invent things to worry about.
Even when I know the things I worried about years ago never came to pass,
I still worry today.
Pretty foolish of me, isn't it Lord?
Much of what I should have worried about, and did not worry about, came
about when I did not worry.
Help me see your true light in all things so I will not worry.
Help me see your true light in the days to come so the future looks
brighter.
Help me see your true light every time I worry.
Help me prepare as best I can for the future and help me rest all my cares
about the future in you.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen
