A Prayer About God's Purpose As My Purpose For Living

Most Precious Lord Jesus…
Gentle And Wonderful God…
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit…
Thank you for this time of worship and reflection.
Thank you for these moments I can spend seeking your love and truth.
I love you Lord.
I need your help in the week ahead for I am at a point in my life where my purpose for living has become clouded over and I am in a state of uncertainty and doubt about what I should do.
In your love and grace, help me find my purpose for living in your purpose for me.
In your love and grace, help me set only those goals you would have for me.
In your love and grace, help me define only those objectives you would have for me.
In your love and grace, help me find my reason for living to be your reason for my living and serving you.
I thank you for your sacrifice for me on the Cross.
In the cross I know I see who you want me to be.
During the coming days I will encounter people who do not know you…help me to be your witness to them.
In helping me find a purpose for my life, help me let your Light and Love shine out to others.
Even in this hour of uncertainty and doubt, in your presence I find my purpose for living.
Even in this hour of uncertainty and doubt, in your kingdom I am called to be your mature child upon this sphere.
Help me as I try to live out my faith as my purpose for living.
Help me to live out my life as you would want me to live.
Touch the life and heart of everyone I pray for each day.
If you must ever make a choice between touching others or touching me, let others be touched before me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
