A Prayer To Grasp Christ's Hand

Most Precious Lord Jesus…
Gentle And Wonderful God…
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit…
I am in trouble Lord.
I am buried under a mountain of afflictions that may not end until I see you face to face.
What do I do?
Do I just sit here and wait to die?
No, I don't think so.
One thing I know I can do is grasp your hand.
When I grasp your hand no matter how things are at the moment for me in the here and now, I have hope.
From the touch of your hand, I have hope forever.
From the touch of your hand, I have glory forever.
From the touch of your hand, I have a new body forever.
From the touch of your hand, I have new challenges, new energy, and new power forever.
From the touch of your hand, I have a new home unmatched by any mansion on earth…a new mansion lasting forever.
From the touch of your hand, I guess I don't have so many afflictions after all.
Thank you, Lord. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
