Prayer About Having A Mind In Christ

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I want to think only of you and only about you.
But in this dark world there are mountains of distractions.
There are mountains of distractions within me called temptations trying to pull me down and destroy me.
There are also mountains distractions from outside of me called temptations trying to pull me away from you.
In you and through you, I know you can enable me and empower me to use my mind for your glory and for your love.
According to your will and according to your love, give me the power to direct my mind only to your will for me.
Empower me to control what I think and control the contents of my mind.
Lead me in my thinking.
Guide me in the use of your wisdom and your truth.
Let me always think first, last, and only of you.
When sinful thoughts invade my mind, let me think first, last, and only of you.
When I am beaten to death by temptations over which it seems I have no control, help me to think first, last, and only about the terrible beating you took for me.
When I think I cannot stand up under the terrible burdens of my life, help me think first, last, and only about the terrible burden you carried for me to the cross.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
